In Scandinavian grocery stores, fresh herbs are sold wrapped in thin plastic packaging. This plastic serves a short-lived purpose; protecting the plant during transport and display, only to be discarded once home.

Not only does this use more plastic and create unnecessary waste, but it also fails to properly protect the delicate herbs in a shopping bag.
